Oats, Cayuse

Avena sativa. A popular, hulled, white oat in the Pacific Northwest. Very productive and great for carbon production, cover cropping or feeding to animals. They also would be great human food if you can figure out how to hull them. Tolerant of very marginal and wet soil. Sow in the spring. Seed produced by Lonesome Whistle Farm in Eugene, Oregon.
