Tomato, Fiaschetto

New for 2012  60 days. Det. Aka, Napoli a Fiaschetto, to distinguish it from other local strains of Fiaschetto tomatoes in Italy. Plants are covered early in small, roma-plum, red tomatoes held in clusters of 4-6. Juicier than most roma types but still a good canner, especially for smooth creamy sauce. Would be great roasted or as a drying tomato similar to Grappoli D'Inverno or Principe Borghese.
