Quinoa, Red Head

Chenopodium quinoa. Ancient Andean high protein staple grain as well as a strikingly beautiful plant. A bright red headed variety selected by Frank Morton in Philomath, OR. High yields of off-white seeds. Heads are more open than others and shed moisture well, resulting in fewer seeds sprouting and less mold in the seedhead.
