Broccoli, Umpqua

50-70 days. 6-8” heads, good side shoot production. Excellent blue-green color. This spring and fall broccoli was bred by Tim Peters of Peters Seed and Research. We collected Umpqua broccoli from three sources (majority from Sandhill Preservation Center) and crossed them all together to increase diversity and reselect for quality within the variety. Grown in the watershed of the Umpqua River, where the variety got its name.
