Radish, Snake

I can't wait for summer so I can pickle or stir fry some of these delicious pods. Grown for young seed pod, not the root. Incredibly beautiful and productive 3 1/2' tall plants produce fleshy pods with classic radish flavor. Profuse flowers can be lavender or white, with pods green or purple. Wonderful insectary plant and also good as an annual "edible ornamental." Distinctly different variety from "Rat's Tail," with thinner, longer pods. From Peter Bauwens, Belgium.
