Leek, Verdonnet

A Swiss landrace variety of winter leek that has been improved by a Swiss farmer/breeder. Large, bright green, tasty leeks that stand all winter and into the spring. A very tall shafted leek good for hilling or trenching to blanch the stalk. A variety given to us by the Irish Seed Savers Association.
