Pak Choi, Luck Dragon (Organic)

Brassica rapa. 35-40 days.

Sweet and crunchy green-stemmed baby pak choi. Impressively vigorous in cool weather and it really shines in the greenhouse in early spring and fall. Produces a lot of food fast per square foot. Leaves are erect and a glossy green color. The leaf petioles are crunchy yet pliable and resist cracking. Slow to bolt from summer-fall sowings. Luck Dragon is currently an F3, which refers to the third generation after the original hybrid. We are still in the process of dehybridization, so there is still a little variability in the population but every plant makes a nice baby pak choi. This is proof that you can successfully save seed on some hybrids, stealing them back from corporations.

As required by the Oregon Department of Agriculture & the Washington Crucifer Quarantine, all Brassica family seed lots have been tested & found negative for blackleg (Phoma lingam) by an approved, certified lab.
