Seed Collections, Dry Farm Adaptive (Organic)

We’re thrilled to offer this collection as part of our collaboration with the good folks at the Dry Farm Institute (DFI). DFI has supported ongoing variety trials in Western Oregon since their inception in 2019 to help identify dry farm-adapted crop varieties and increase awareness and availability of these varieties through collaboration with seed stewards and companies like us (Adaptive Seeds)!

With this collection, you’ll receive varieties that have been found to do well when grown utilizing dry farming techniques. The 8 packets cover a diversity of crop types and include both staple crops and vegetables. This collection currently features: Open Oak Party Mix Dent Corn, Dakota Black Popcorn, Golden Dragon Garbanzo Bean, Sacaton Brown Tepary Bean, Whipple Bush Dry Bean, Tiffen Mennonite Tomato, Spring King Tomato, and Gill’s Golden Pippin Winter Squash.

You can find additional Dry Farming Adaptive varieties here.

This collection is packaged in an attractive cotton muslin drawstring bag and includes an informational handout about Dry Farming as well as DFI and Adaptive Seeds stickers.
